24-12-2006 - Co-ordination Committee has deferred the ongoing programme of agitation to give more time to the DPE to study the demand in the memorandum submitted to the Hon. Prime Minister by the Co-ordination Committee

Congratulations! Comrades, it was a superb fight. Your magnificent response to the first-ever stay out strike launched by the association was incredible. Throughout the state the valiant comrades of SNEA stayed out in large numbers with strong hearts. Keep up the spirits - - We applaud each one of you!!

 

16-12-2006 - The preparatory meeting for the ensuing indefinite strike from 22-12-2006 was held at Telephone Exchange, KK Nagar, chennai. The meeting was addressed by Circle Secretary Com. N.Balakrishnan. demands - 50% DA merger with basic pay, interim relief for all. All the members are requested to contact office bearers on 21-12-2006 for further details.

 

23-11-2006 - The Executive Committee meeting of Civil Division was held at Hotel Green Park in the temple city Kumbakonam. Com.Paranjabey welcomed all the office bearers and guests. Com S.Radhakrishnan in his presidential address urged the need of active participation of our members. He insisted that issue of residency period and notional fixation from 1.10.2000 shall not be diluted under any circumstances. Com. Mahendiran, CWC member assured that SNEA will not compromise on this issue. He also explained the features of the Promotion Policy and clarified the doubts raised by our members. Com. M.Gunasekaran, CWC member discussed about the merger of Civil Wing with main stream in detail.  The Division Secretary submitted his report and it was adopted. Com. Rajeshwaran, secretary CRDA SSA and  Com.Rajasekaran , Asst Secretary greeted the meeting. As Circle Secretary could not attend the meeting he conveyed his wishes over phone. Com. K. Aravazhi delivered vote of thanks. Congratulations to Com.Paranjabey, Com.K.Aravazhi, Com. Senthilvelan  and other comrades of Trichy Division for the success.
